My Son: My Success

What are you most proud of in your life?

I am most proud of my son, Ramel. He has grown up to be a man of integrity. He’s honest and hardworking and knows how much God has done for him.

Ramel moved out when he was 19 and has successfully been on his own since then. He will be 26 on his next birthday and I couldn’t be prouder.

Moving Day Success

Moving day with my son was a success. He moved into a smaller one bedroom, since he didn’t need a study anymore. I didn’t do any lifting but I did help with packing and cleaning. LOL I was exhausted by the time I got home but I’m so grateful I was able to help him.

He had 2 great friends come over and help with the heavy lifting. God always makes a way! I don’t know what I would do without Him.

Things have been pretty calm lately. Hubby and I are just trying to concentrate on getting some things done over the next few months. It’s really amazing when I sit back and think of all of the things God has done for us. Like I was telling my son, God has truly brought us a long way! I look back at our lives 7 years ago and you wouldn’t even recognize it.

Questionable Last Year vs Spectacular This Year

Is your life today what you pictured a year ago?

Last year I was wondering how I was going to be able to pay for dental implants. God worked that out and I am getting my implants free of charge from the VA Hospital!

Last year I was wondering how we were going to be able to afford to move and get a yard for Moki. God has provided a promotion to a Federal Job for my husband and we have been approved for a very spacious townhome with a yard!

Last year my son was worried about not making enough money on his job to pay his rent. God has provided him with a new job that he loves and he’s interested in making a career out of!

God has been so good to my family and I will always give Him the credit He is due. Without God, I don’t know where I would be!

Life Changes: My Boy Moved Out

My boy moved out yesterday.

Ramel is 20 years old and he moved into his first apartment yesterday. I am so proud of him! When I came home and saw his room empty, it kind of stunned me. It’s been just him and I since he was 3 years old. He means the world to me.

I pray that God keeps His hands on him and I told him, I’m always here for him.

Thank you Lord for helping me raise Ramel on my own. Thank you for the man that he has become!
