Life, Squats and Ru Paul!

Life. Whether you are enjoying it or hating it, it goes on; with or without you, so chin up!

I’ve been practicing keeping focused in September. It’s working, but it’s hard. They are so many things that I am working towards and I know that with God all things are possible!

Lately my days consist of watching Ru Paul’s Drag Race reruns and trying to get to 1000 squats this month (with St. Jude). I haven’t tallied them up yet I’m just trying to do at least 30 a day. Some days I missed and one day I only did 20 but hey, I’m still trying!

No matter how hard things get, I always remember how blessed I am. God has never failed me, and He never will!

OMG. Food. One of my favorite things in the world. I wish I didn’t love food so much, then maybe I could lose some of this stomach fat! Gonna be honest: I love all food.

I love ordering Chinese Egg Foo Young.

I love eating Ben & Jerry’s Ice cream.

I love ordering subs from Jersey Mikes or Jimmie Johns.

I love eating burgers from Griffs.

I could go on and on, but I won’t. Just know: I love food way too much!

Ideal Week with Hubby

Describe your ideal week.

First of all, it would start with my husband being off that week.

Every morning we would get u and take Moki for a walk and then go someplace new for breakfast.

We would spend the afternoons playing Backgammon and doing arts and crafts while sipping wine.

When evenings roll around, we would be all showered and relaxed and watching our favorite (true crime) on Netflix.

Netflix and Chill. ❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊

The Happiness is Real

This picture represents my happiness. This is the happiest I have been in my whole life and I am so thankful to God for providing me with a husband who loves me and a wonderful, handsome son who is doing well in life!

I had a good talk with him the other day about my need to refocus and get some things back on track. Sometimes, when you give a voice to things, they become more real. I thank God for always having my back no matter how many times I lose focus!

I’ve set things in motion as far as my health and I want to stick with it. I’m challenging myself to do certain things for the month of September. I am keeping a daily record to be accountable. I’ve found that writing lists and keeping notes is something that helps me stay with things.

I’ve got to keep pushing. God has blessed me too much for me to give up now!
